Exercise and eating disorders often go hand in hand, so it’s no wonder I often get questions about when is the “right” time to start exercising in recovery, and how to go about it in a way that isn’t compulsive or unhealthy. In this video I explain the biological reasons you feel this intense urge to exercise, why rest days are so hard, and what you can do to heal from exercise addiction for good! I also share my personal story with compulsive exercise and give practical tips on how to make rest days easier.
