âLiv is an exceptional human being and a superlative coach. If you want to understand autism, eating disorders, and yourself she is not only the best but the easiest person to talk to. Wise, compassionate, and driven by respect and love; Liv has essential insights that will help you in your journey wherever you are. I cannot recommend her highly enough.â

âI can't express the gratitude I feel for being in this community. I'm so grateful for you Livia that has created this art, to have put yourself out there with your podcast so I could find you. Since I joined the existential membership my life has improved drastically. I choose real recovery/discovery, got out of the quasi state. I feel so much less alone. I've started to discover myself. I have started to create a life worth living. Thank you everyone, and especially Livia. âĽď¸Â And now with the Academy, it's just wonderful what an impact it has started to make. Joining both the academy and membership has been two of the best decisions I've ever made.â

âThank you so much for all your amazing work & support. You truly are one in a million & have such a gifted way of explaining how the creative minds us neurodiverse souls have been blessed with & cursed with all in one. It has been a pleasure for myself & Katie to have been part of such an amazing experience being surrounded with such an honest & powerful group of like minded souls. Thank you so much Liv đ â

âAs a coach, Livia is a very thoughtful listener. She really gets it. She has done a lot of research and bridges the gaps in the current knowledge base by adding her own lived experience. She creates a more visceral understanding of how a real autistic person views the world. She doesnât diminish the neurodivergent experience. But her coaching style is very empowering and after every session I left feeling a little lighter and ready to take on my challenges. She lifts me up.â

âI came to Liv in desperation after battling with a 20 year long restrictive eating disorder. I had been through treatment in the past, and the thing that really haunted me was being told by every medical professional that I worked with âthis is just a lifelong battle, you will be struggling with this eating disorder in some way, shape, or form for the rest of your life.â I was so DAMN TIRED of hearing those words. Liv, on the other hand, completely changed my life, by simply providing me with the tools to change my mindset. I love her approach on everything, I actually looked forward to our sessions because I felt like I was just meeting with a friend, rather than having to go to therapy and âdo work.â Liv helped me to understand that all I REALLY needed was to change my outlook, and stop judging myself so hard. I learned and practiced how change my life style from what I was conditioned to believe: âI have an unfixable problem,â to âmaybe I can get a handle on this and overcome this,â and slowly I was able to develop a new routine, of believing in myself, nourishing myself, and listening to what my body needs. We quite literally reprogrammed my mind, and got rid of the demon on my shoulder telling me I would be in constant suffering. I am happier, healthier, and much more functional thanks to coaching that I was so fortunate to get from Liv. Hands down, 10/10 all around intelligent, wonderful, and lively human being who truly loves what she does and cares about her clients. I cannot recommend her enough!!!â

âI learned so much that I never knew about autism and eating disorders even after years of being in both communities online. Explanations as to why I struggle with certain behaviours and situations, how our brains and bodies work, and techniques to help move away from needing an eating disorder to handle the world. I struggle to justify spending money on myself but Iâm so glad I spent this money. Thank you Livia!â
â Nico, UK

âThis program was brilliant! It helped me shift my mindset to understanding how eating disorders function as adaptive responses when experienced by neurodivergent people. The Academy shone a light on a way forward â to decode what is serving vs not serving our authentic selves, and therefore a way out of the false safety of an eating disorder.â

âI am so grateful to have been a participant in Liviaâs Autistically ED-Free Academy. My daughter has been in recovery for anorexia for the last four years and was recently diagnosed with autism. I canât tell you how comforting it is to finally have someone understand and validate the struggles our daughter has been through. Livia has helped me to recognize that some of my daughterâs âED behaviorsâ are actually autistic adaptations, and that not all ED recovery follows the same path or responds to the same treatments. The weekly meeting topics and the Q&A sessions were equally beneficial. I highly recommend the Autistically ED-Free Academy to anyone who is struggling in their recovery and wants to begin to trust themselves and their loved ones again.â

âI honestly donât have the words to describe the profoundly positive impact our session yesterday has invoked upon me!!! I know I said this at the end, but iâll repeat now, the way in which you made me feel; seen, heard, understood, validated, and humanised was so profound, especially (as you yourself are acutely aware) when considered in contrast to how iâve been treated by the mainstream  treatment system!!! As such, âthank you,â is insufficient, but itâll have to do. My Mum (who wonât be there every session, just the first time for anxiety management support etc) was  also profoundly impressed with how you connected with, and just got me, thus weâre both feeling much more hopeful. That itself, is something iâm incredibly greatful for, and  (without wishing to over-praise and trigger demand avoidance related anxiety)itâs also quite an achievement on your part, as (somewhat understandably) without wishing to sound to Freudian,as an emotional defence mechanism, sheâs often somewhat pessimistic or at least cautious of being too hopeful about my recovery, just because the whole thing has dragged on for so long etc.â

âAs someone who facilitates carer workshops on a regular basis this was a unique learning opportunity for me to more fully understand what it is really like for someone with autism to both have an eating disorder, and be expected to respond to classic treatment for neurotypical patients. How damaging it can be to be told over and over "you don't fit" or in Livia's case "you are not treatable." The course was so empowering for all participants whether they came as carers, patients, or like me in a more professional capacity. I cannot do justice to the depth and breadth of the course in this short testimonial. It has certainly informed me in so many ways so that I can endeavour to run courses that are affirming to all participants in the future.â

âLiviaâs Autistically ED-Free Academy has been incredibly useful. This program is unique, in the sense that she harnesses autistic traits in working on recovery, as opposed to overriding them. She has been so generous with her knowledge, experience and insights, and puts a lot of thought into her responses. Livia is knowledgeable, warm, funny, and utterly sincere. She puts people at ease without even trying. I would definitely recommend this program!â

âThe Academy helped me understand the main source of my daughterâs struggles with her eating disorder. I realised the importance of supporting her in discovering and embracing her neurodiversity. Liviaâs eye-opening presentations and the safe environment fostered by her inspired insightful discussions and created priceless learning moments. Thank you to Livia and the community for this journey together.ââLiviaâs eye-opening presentations and the safe environment fostered by her inspired insightful discussions and created priceless learning moments. âLivia changed my life. As an autistic person that has ED lived experience, she truly 'gets it' like no one else I worked with before. She understands the unique struggles when autism and eating disorders overlap and has genius insights on challenging the eating disorder while embracing the autism. Her guidance helped me break free from rigid patterns while keeping my need for structure and routine. I learned to trust parts of myself that I had pushed away for years. I finally feel confident about my recovery and I couldnât have done it without her.â

âIn the Academy, I found a community that understood my struggles and gave me valuable insights to help me understand how my ED interacts with my neurodivergence, and how I can leverage it for recovery.â
â Ana Sofia, Portugal

âTo be honest, I couldnât even afford the Academy. However, I am so glad that I booked it anyway, because of what Iâve learned from you and this community, the people I got to know, and the discussions I was able to join. You created a unique space with your open heart and open mind, your honesty and lovability. All this is so much more worth than the financial debts. You have such an empowering way of doing what you are passionate about and that encourages me. I cannot describe how grateful I am for you and what you are doing!â
â Eva, Germany

âHi Liv, I hope you donât mind me messaging you now. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this opportunity and supporting my inclusion in the academy. I am finding it so so helpful and honestly it feels like itâs come at the right moment for me. I had some conversations with my OT (not ED related) today and he said he can sense something shifting in how I relate to myself, my identity and that I seem to be âshowing up for myselfâ, on a psychological level. I talked to him about how valuable I am finding the academy and that through connecting with others, I am discovering myself. I just wanted to let you know that this work you are doing is truly life changing and really powerful. I am so grateful for you. Thank you! â¤ď¸đĽ°â

âThank you to Livia and everyone in the community for the great support we received. Livia, I admire your dedication and preparation for this Academy, most of all I admire your humility, even when you have changed lives, you present yourself in a very authentic way. The changes we made in our sonâs recovery were because of you, and all those adjustments made a very positive impact in him.â
â Humberto, US

âThank you Livia. Youâre so wonderful, you really make this world such a better place to keep living in. It makes living worth it to know that beautiful, likeminded souls like you exist.â

âLivia Sara's work is genius and her ability to understand eating disorders, especially when in the mind of an autistic teenager. Words cannot express my gratitude for Livia. I don't know where we would be if we didn't find her. We searched for 2 years to find someone to help us, some one who could shine a light and show us a pathway that would actually work and save our child. We still have some work to do, but with Livia's guidance we move closer every day to my daughter's mental and physical health being restored.â
â Donna, UK
âThe sessions and times I had worked with Livia are going to be one of the most valuable experiences I have done. She is extremely knowledgeable in both eating disorders and autism. This is very very rare and she has a gift to explain to me in an angle I have not been able to see and know. If I have to use one word to describe our relationship, I would use the word â connection! True connection is always missing in many relationships and even to ourselves.â
â Tammy, US
âThank you you for this Academy and how valuable it has been. It has come at a crucial time for us as we work past a hard winter with my daughter. It seems to be a cycle each year that it gets harder the further we get into winter and we start to do better again as the days begin to get a bit longer. When this series began my daughter (young adult) wasnât in a mental space to join in. For the last few weeks we have been listening to all the sessions and will be sad to see the series end. She especially liked the PDA session as we learned of PDA a year or two ago and definitely resonate with that. Our experiences over the years have so many parallels with yours, Livia, and your thoughtful creation of your presentations has been great. My daughter likes your podcasts, but feels these talks have been such a step up in being helpful. It will take a lot of time and maintaining a sense of safety to keep trying to take steps forward. She has lost a lot of trust in programs because they have so misunderstood her needs and her actions. Thank you for being a voice to get the word out that âtreatment as usualâ is NOT always the best course!â
â Sonia, USA

âHi Liv, I just wanted to say thank you SO much for our call today - it honestly made my day. I was just talking to my Mum about our call and realised, firstly, how did we cover so much in just an hour?? And secondly, I was talking with such a big smile on my face :) I honestly felt so heard and understood by you! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside (sometimes I find describing my feelings with sensory language better reflects my inner state than the typical emotional lexicon).â
â Laura, UK
âIâm not exactly sure what to say, or how to express our gratitude for working with our daughter. It's been amazing to see her grow in confidence, struggle and continue on and finally have words for some of the experiences she has in life. Youâve been amazing and weâre so thankful youâve been such a positive influence on her.â
â Ted, US

âMy daughter who has been suffering with anorexia for 5 years has, in the last week, taken her own first steps towards recovery. To all other parents out there, I'm not saying that this was solely because of Liv's course but I am certain that her reframing of an ED through an autism-affirming lens helped me better understand and support my daughter in a way that FBT never did. It's early days and I know that with eating disorders, nothing is ever easy or straightforward but Liv's course gave me insights, empathy, and practical advice that whatever the outcome of this part of the journey, I know has been super helpful. I can really recommend this to anyone else in a similar situation.â

âWorking with Livia has been such a helpful experience for our family. As a parent, I was at a loss on how to support my son, who is both autistic and battling an eating disorder. Livia not only helped me understand the unique challenges he faces but also provided compassionate, actionable guidance that empowered me as a parent. Her approach is so personalized and neurodivergent-affirming that I could see my son finally feel understood for who he is. Her coaching program gave us tools to communicate more effectively, respect his needs, and support his recovery in a way that feels authentic to him. I'm beyond grateful for the transformation we've experienced!â
